Hearing Orihime-bashing while people claim to love her while doing it and them also claiming to ship UlquiHime ‘so hard’…

Some fans may have fun doing this immature shit, but other fans could give two shits about other…

It’s rare to find UlquiHime fans such as yourself who respect other pairings and can admit that lots of their fellow fans are not nice. Many, as you say, are actually maniacs who only ship it to bash Orihime and her fans and hook her up with someone else so she won’t get in the way. Heck, this ship is also used to bash other Orihime pairings (and fans of those pairings) under the guise of proving the couple to be possible.

The fact that some did not like Orihime until the HM Arc ended suggests to me that they cannot accept everything that makes her her and like you say, it seems they started liking her out of the blue. That’s okay as long as you embrace all of her as a character; otherwise, you are only ever seeing a small part and missing out on the bigger picture.  

Mixing other couples you like and anti-pairings into a ship? Not a good idea. It only distorts and warps everything. It also degrades the ship itself. In this case, UlquiHime. I bet your couple doesn’t feel or look the same anymore after all that rubbish is lumped in with it. The worse thing about it is that this happens everywhere. I picture that happening for IchiHime and it’s not an enticing visual to say the least. I can only imagine what it must be like for you, having to deal with that in reality all the time when it comes to UlquiHime. *shudders*

You’re right. Shipping would be so much easier and nicer if people like them weren’t about. Unfortunately, because there are so many like that around (especially those who do not and will not realise what they look like when they act the way they do), even places for general Bleach discussion are not safe.

Well, I was talking about this with a fellow UH (who is also anti-batshit) and we coincided that there’s an invisible line between a real UH and Orihime fan, and a fake UH and Orihime fan. Most of the UHs I see going off I categorize as ‘fake’, since they have a bad habit of bringing IH and ’batshit pairing’ into it. To be honest, this post was originally meant to bash a particular socalled UH that had written a very stupid post stating that she loved Orihime and UH, but ‘hated’ Orihime for not saving Ulquiorra and had proceeded to bash the crap out of her.

Usually when that kind of stuff happens anywhere, I just ask them ‘Why do you bother shipping anything with Orihime in it?’ the same goes with the ones that always bash IH and bring IR into the UH ship. The best silencer for those is, ‘Why do you worry so much about that other ship and glorify another couple so freaking much? This is UlquiHime we’re talking about, not whine-like-a-bratty-baby-over-other-pairings.’ (and yes, I’ve had tons of socalled UHs going off on me for saying stuff like that before. LOL)

My definition of shipping is to enjoy the pairing in its entirety, not waste so much time seeking out other pairings in order to make an OTP look good (it actually only makes an OTP look like crap, which is why when the incident with True Love happened, I had to say that the person that started it was shit-smearing UH with so much obsessive insecure junk; since this individual claims to love UH while bashing Orihime to hell and back)
